Important Recommendations
Use a corporate email and new Apple ID to create Apple Developer account.
Register the Apple developer account either in the name of the intellectual property rights owner of the name/brand or, if unregistered, under the name of the Entrepreneur or one of the company's Founders.
Keep the login and password of the developer account unchanged.
Follow steps
1. Create a New Apple ID
Use the Apple ID creation link to register an Apple ID in the name of a company founder or CEO.
Confirm the email address and phone number to secure your Apple
2. Registering for an Apple Developer Account
Go to https://developer.apple.com/, click on 'Account', and log in with your newly created Apple ID.
Click on "Enroll now" and agree to the user agreement.
Write your personal information, then select 'Organization' and continue.
Important: It’s crucial to create an account as an Organization, not a personal account.
Provide your company's D-U-N-S number, a unique identifier that verifies your company's existence and legality.
If you don’t have a D-U-N-S number, follow these steps to request one:
• Visit the Dun&Bradstreet website: Go to the official Dun&Bradstreet (D&B) page in your country. In many countries, you can find information and services to obtain a DUNS number.
• Complete the request form: Look for the option to apply for a DUNS number. You will need to provide information about your company, such as:
Articles of incorporation (should include legal representative’s powers)
Legal representative’s power of attorney
Legal representative’s ID
Tax situation certificate
Proof of address
Wait for verification: After submitting your application, D&B will verify the provided information. This process may take a few days. You should check the system for missing fields, as they may delay the process without notification.
Receive your DUNS number: Once your information is verified, you will receive your DUNS number.
Enter accurate company information, including a working website and corporate email. Apple will use these to verify your company's legitimacy.
Make sure to check emails from Apple Developer regularly.
Apple will review your application and may call to verify details. This call will be in English and is a mandatory part of the process.
Payment: Upon verification, return to the Apple Developer site to complete your membership payment ($99/year), which can be canceled to avoid automatic renewal.
3. Provide access
Go to your Apple Developer Account > Apps
Go to the Users and Access section or click on this link: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/access/users and click Add (+)
c. Fill in the details with the following information: First Name: Renova, Last Name: Dev, Email: [email protected] (Ruslan, Renova Dev). Make sure to check all the permission boxes on the add form (see the screenshot below) and verify that the box next to Access to Cloud Managed Developer ID Certificate is checked.
Once you've followed these steps and granted access to Renova, your app will be ready to launch in about 4 weeks.
